We have received numerous phone calls about ongoing 400-based software support.  Manatron will continue to support the Kansas 400-based software programs and doesn’t foresee this changing for a very long time.  In fact, we see this as a great thing for Counties because now they can choose to switch to a PC based software suite, run a 400-based software suite, or choose to do both allowing one department in the County to choose to run PC based solutions while another runs 400 based solutions, yet the software will still hold tight integration because it is all under the Manatron umbrella.

Manatron Acquires CountyWorks from Nex-Tech, Inc.

PORTAGE, MI — November 4, 2008 - Manatron, Inc. the nation’s leading provider of integrated, enterprise-level property solutions for state and local governments, announced that it has acquired the CountyWorks government software operation of Nex-Tech, Inc., a Kansas-based solutions provider. CountyWorks will join Manatron’s InfiniTec Division in Hays, Kansas and with this acquisition, Manatron strengthens its solutions for Kansas’ local government officials.
