Company Biography

InfiniTec, Inc. is owned and operated by Doug and Carol Rozean. Our Corporate office is located in Hays, Kansas. This company has seen several name changes and owners over the course of 38 years. It originated in Hays, Kansas in 1979 and was sold to a Kentucky firm in the late 1980’s. In 1994 the company was returned to Hays, Kansas and has remained here ever since. In 1999 InfiniTec had approximately 46 County customers in Kansas. Today the company has grown to 62 full Counties and has over 80 Counties that run our County Applications. Through acquisitions and mergers, InfiniTec expanded their Software Solutions to include a full set of network based City Municipal Applications that include approximately 55 City Customers in Kansas today.

InfiniTec provides current and future customers with one technology resource for all of their needs.  With the rapid change in technology, it is very difficult and expensive for a company to keep current in technology.   InfiniTec has been able to bring very qualified and specialized employees on board.  We still maintain the expertise in our County Government Software AS/400 (iSeries) and we have combined and added personnel to expedite development in our all new SQL Server .net area.  We also continue to grow in the Imaging, Web, GIS, LGIS and Browser based products that enrich our current County and City Applications so our customers have a fully integrated single vendor solution.  InfiniTec, Inc. employs 30 full time and several part time people throughout the state of Kansas.   

In addition to our Application Software we can offer our customers Hardware Marketing and Hardware Services. InfiniTec, Inc. is an IBM Certified Business Partner, which enables us to provide all of the support, upgrades and services on the IBM AS400/iSeries, IBM Netfinity Servers, IBM PC’s and IBM Peripherals. InfiniTec also markets and supports a wide variety of “other brand name products”. We offer site analysis to determine the customer’s needs, order the hardware, install and train the employees in the use of new technology. Internet and intranet services are available and we implement all or any part of that for our customers. InfiniTec also works with several large Commercial customers to help them with all of their Technology needs.

InfiniTec has always been a big believer in continuing education for its employees as well as its customers. We have our annual User Group Conference that brings in approximately 200 customers and we provide several classes throughout the year in multiple locations for our customers.  As of now, we have staff located in Hays, Colby, Oakley, Emporia, Concordia, and Topeka, Kansas. The InfiniTec staff attends several Microsoft and IBM Conferences throughout the year. InfiniTec employs IBM, Microsoft, Cisco Certified Marketing and Certified System Engineers.
